Press Release

The World Leader in Fastener Technology has just released a new 1.750” UHL wheel stud kit for Subaru WRX/BRZ & Scion FRS applications. ARP wheel studs are manufactured from premium grade heat treated 8740 chrome moly steel, nominally rated at 200,000 psi tensile strength and cadmium plated for extra durability. These studs are able to easily handle the tremendous acceleration shock loads and lateral forces found in racing applications.

  1. Easy Install, Can't beat ARP Hardware

So nice to finally be able to swap wheels without worrying about crossthreading my studs. Huge upgrade over the factory hardware.

  2. I mean, they're studs.

Alright, so I went into Mr. tire to get a new tire put on and mounted about 2 weeks ago and they ended up cross threading one of my factory studs. With these I don't think it is possible to cross thread them because of the strength of the pattern, but remember studs should be able to break inside your lug nut so that you can get your wheel off, I'm not sure how these will actually affect the car other than just being a replacement, but hey it's nice to know you won't have to worry about cross threading them when getting a new tire mounted right?
