WHY?
Well, to put it as simply as we can, the heavier the knob, the easier it will make shifting feel. Its not magic, its physics. Weight in motion directly relates to how an object will react to an opposing force. In this case, the opposing force is the gate pattern and counter springs that are connected to your shift arm that tell you the shift pattern of your car. The difference felt when shifting into the next gear requires far less effort due to the additional momentum created by the increased mass.
COMFORT
A shift knob is one of the most touched accessories in the car, short of the steering wheel and pedals. We designed the Slammer to be just as aesthetically pleasing as it is to hold in the palm of your hand.
The shape of the Slammer is not the traditional ball shaped shift knob for a reason. The ergonomics behind an overhand grip shift position require a full form shape at the bottom and a flatter top shape to fill your palm. The combination of these elements drove the shape of the Slammer.
STAINLESS STEEL
The Slammer is CNC machined from 303 stainless steel. Machining stainless steel is not an easy task. It requires close supervision of their CNC turning centers and tooling to ensure a flawless part and surface finish.
TRANSLUCENT FINISH
This translucent finish is unique and high quality.
THREADED ADAPTER
The Slammer shift knob will come with a billet aluminum threaded adapter with a M12 x 1.25mm thread to fit the shift knob to your WRX / STI / BRZ shifter arm
SET SCREW
A set screw is also included that allows you to easily adjust the orientation of the shift gate pattern and the height of the shift knob. Instructions are included to help you thru the installation process.

Looks amazing
By Device442 May 28, 20222022 BRZ Got this and I was willing to MacGyver it to make it work in the 2022. All it took was adding a longer machine screw on the top of the adapter to make it work. Feels amazing while shifting, and the translucent Red with my limited trim accents seems to line up well.

Just What I Wanted
By Aaron February 9, 2018This knob is much heavier than stock. The throws are nice and smooth and it is definitely an eye catcher when someone gets into your car. The gloss finish is a nice touch and is perfected when combined with the Raceseng reverse lockout.

Amazing feel and quality
By Kevin December 21, 2016It's expensive for a shift knob, sure, but the quality of the finish is to notch and the way the slammer feels in your hand is just about perfect. The adapter bolt that it comes with is height adjustable as well, up to a centimeter of range to give you a little more leverage. Awesome shift knob from an awesome company!

Worth the coin
By Blake January 9, 2016Beautiful knob. I really like the additional weight and feel of it. It looks great although the Trans Clear is NOT the same color silver as my 2016 OEM WRX shift bezel. Slightly darker, I wish I had gotten the gunmetal finish but oh well. If you live somewhere cold, you'll want to wear gloves in the winter as I can see this thing getting chilly to the touch. Not a problem in SoCal
