A nice middle ground between AWE and quiter options
By Victor September 6, 2022Installed on a 2023 GR86 Premium 6MT I initially wanted to install the AWE Touring catback but since I live in an apartment complex, volume was a concern of mine. This exhaust is what I would describe as "gentlemanly." It's loud, but not obnoxiously so. Cold starts are annoyingly loud but it quiets down considerably after 15-20 seconds. This is no fault of the Corsa system, though, as its caused by the Toyota D-4S fuel system. The tone is nice and deep at idle and low loads, but evolves into a higher-pitched scream at heavy load. You get a decent sounding rumble at idle. It's almost as if you had UEL headers on. Almost. Overall, I really like this exhaust system.

Good sound
By Ascary June 13, 2018Overall its a good product. Sounds really nice...not loud at all, but growls and burbles and pops just a tad on downshifts. It's not a polished stainless piece so the looks are not quite what I wanted but its a daily so it really didn't bother me too much. What I didn't like was the fitment. Passenger side tip was about an inch off to the side since the attachment was too long and had to be cut. The muffler joint was too short by a little bit so it pulled the muffler forward on the driver side and cocked the passenger tip rearward a little. The shop guy did what he could to align everything without having an exhaust leak. Tips look really good though...

Loving the new exhaust!!
By Steve September 22, 2015The Corsa is the best sounding catback, in my opinion. A lot of people comment on how great it sounds, even with stock header, front pipe, and overpipe. No drone at all, as Corsa states. May be more pricey than other catbacks but the sound and subsequent smiles is worth it!
