  1. Paint flakes off

    I bought the red ones and they look great in the package. After tightening the first one down I noticed that a lot of the paint came off the lug nut. I put a piece of plastic around the next one and it made no difference. I'm not going to bother putting them on. The stock chrome lug nuts look better than chipped up red ones.

    These are perfect for someone swapping a set of wheels that never plans on swapping again. Already noticed the finish coming off after the first install. After 3 uses of wheels coming off/on for seasonal changes, these things were pretty much destroyed. New sockets could barely bite into them, resulting in an unwanted investment into emergency lug removal hardware.

    The blue of the lugs are actually lighter than what they appear to be in the picture, but these are great. It comes with its own socket for installation and i constantly get complements on something so little.
