WORTH IT
I had an automatic Toyota 86 that's barebones stock and with some mileage. It was about time to change the stock filter so I thought I'd upgrade and to be fair I am shocked! You can feel it pull a little harder now in the 3-6k rpms. It's winter so the cold air is definitely helping but I do feel a performance gain. Mind you, I did also purchase a Perrin intake tube too so that might also be aiding as well but its honestly really inexpensive for the combination and I am loving it!

Great Filter
Perfect drop in filter, have used K&N before so no real surprises for me. Big increase in intake sound around the torque dip area but as expected no noticeable power from just the filter alone. Added this just before tuning to E85 with the OFT (Open Flash Tablet) and the intake sound with the new tune is very aggressive.

Great Cheap Upgrade
If you want some induction noise and a little better throttle response, then $49 seems pretty reasonable right? If you don't want to cough up a couple hundred for a CAI or SRI, then definitely would recommend.
