Complete systems will include a calibration upgrade and all necessary fuel components to boost your FR-S/BRZ to 294HP and 210 lb/ft torque with 9PSI at the factory redline. This includes a replacement MAP sensor and Ecutek programmer to re-flash the ECU with a safe, custom Vortech calibration for 91-octane fuel.
System Features
- Gear-driven V-3 H67BC centrifugal supercharger, designed specifically for the FA20 Boxer engine.
- The V-3 features an internal oil reservoir. No connection between the oil pan and the compressor gear case is required; no oil line. Includes a remote fluid drain hose (attached to supercharger) that allows for simple fluid changes without removing the supercharger from the vehicle.
- Technologically advanced, high-efficiency, 5-Axis machined billet impeller and high-diffusion housing developed in our SAE-J1723-compliant supercharger test cell.
- Stylized airbox and filter housing design allows for additional flow, while retaining the factory cold air ram intake. Quick release fasteners allow for simple access to filter for change/cleaning.
- Integrated air/air charge cooler configuration features all aluminum tube ducting and an over-sized cooler core to provide maximum cooling with minimum pressure loss.
- Discharge duct connections utilize heat resistant silicon sleeves and premium quality stainless steel clamps.
- CNC machined billet mounting bracketry with black anodized finish for attractive and functional "factory-type" appearance and rigidity.
- Complete bolt-on system including all necessary belts, pulleys and reusable high-flow air filter.

Best bang for your buck! minus 2 small problems.
By Sho September 5, 2020PROS: Installation is quite easy. There's a night and day difference in the 86's behavior with Vortech's tuned supercharger. I won't get too much into detail, but the gain that everyone has been wishing for since the car's debut is there! Also I HIGHLY recommend also getting Vortech's racing BOV too. That thing sounds beastly! CONS: (hence the 4/5 rating) The belt that came with the kit must've been a tad too small because I couldn't get it on all the way and had to get a different belt from my local parts store. Also the washer fluid reservoir that came with the kit also was defective. The opening on the bottom was molded defectively, so when i fill up the tank, it'll lose all the washer fluid instantly. VERDICT: Minus the washer fluid reservoir defect and wrong belt size. I am very pleased with this supercharger despite the reviews you see on Youtube about this supercharger. Also keep in mind that all those videos are 5-6 years old so any problems those youtubers had with this product back then, Vortech has fixed them. I've been rolling on 2 years with the tuned Vortech supercharger and have had NO ISSUES whatsoever! 9/10!
