Sticker Fab 3D Carbon "Supra" Steering Wheel Trim Overlays (Full Set)
2020+ A90 Supra
Full Steering Wheel Overlays with Logo
One criticism of the GR Supra is the steering wheel. There are a few things about it that people don't like about it, but there is definitely room for improvement here and there. A large, plain spot was left on the bottom of the spokes which can be filled with textured vinyl with a "SUPRA" logo. This kit also has pieces that cover the top, bottom, and sides of the steering wheel trim. It is made by Sticker Fab who is a US based company that has been creating designs for late model vehicles.
Dragon Wrap™ Carbon Fiber Film is a 5.6 mil calendered vinyl film featuring a clear repositionable permanent acrylic adhesive on an air-egress liner. This film has excellent dimensional stability, outstanding durability and outdoor performance. This repositionable permanent adhesive offers minimal initial bond growing to permanent bonds that facilitates application of large graphics. The air egress liner also aids in large graphic application.
Lasts up to 5 years outdoors.
Care Details: Concept Carbon Fiber film should be maintained to preserve long term appearance using standard aftercare products designed for textured exterior vinyl surfaces. A commercially available protectant such as Armor All or 303 Aerospace Protectant is recommended. DO NOT use waxes of any type.

Clean the application area and make sure it is clear of any dirt, debris, and ideally wax. You will want to have a heat gun or hair dryer handy. Start with the lower spoke piece that has the logo. Apply evenly without heat. Use your fingers to press down on the vinyl. Apply the button overlays without heat initially. Once they are placed down evenly, apply small amounts of heat and stretch the portions that did not lay flat with your fingers (outer edges). Stretch the material by pressing down softly. As needed, apply more pressure to make sure areas do not crinkle. Once these are done, apply the top piece as far forward of the steering wheel as possible. You may need to use small amounts of heat on the ends. The lower spoke surround requires the most attention. Apply evenly with enough material forward of the sides to wrap around the top, but not so that it will touch the painted portion of the trim. Apply light amounts of heat evenly on the vinyl. Press it down so it covers all of the plain trim.

Fairly Easy to install. Looks like vinyl.
This product goes on fairly easy, although having instructions as to which piece to put on first would have been nice. Looks better than the black plastic it covers, but it still looks like vinyl. Use a heat gun to help the vinyl mold to the curves. Gaps between pieces/overlaps of the vinyl are only slightly noticeable. I very much recommend this as an intermediate step while waiting for real carbon fiber overlays. :) Much easier than trying to cut the vinyl yourself.
