adds a touch of refinement
By Peter July 1, 2020Was getting tired of looking at the OEM e-brake boot (old pseudo-leathery disappointment) so installed this both of these ultra-suede pieces. Releasing the old shift boot from the frame is a bit of an effort (hint, start at the corners). E-brake boot is sort of trick to glue, best to spray the plastic frame as well as paint 3M trim adhesive to the inside of the boot for a secure bond. However, makes both surfaces super tacky, with a slim chance at repositioning. Test fit and mark inside of fabric so you know where to place it. Overall good fit and necessary addition to the console.

Could be tricky for first time installers... but worth the end result
By JVR April 20, 2020Installing can be a bit tough, as the material is much thicker than stock. This means fitting it between the plastic bezels at the base of the shifter are going to take some strong hands, or good tools. The E-brake handle is slightly easier, but fit is just perfect... so don't be off on any one side, or you will not have enough for the other edges. End look is superb and much better than stock, but will take some attentive cleaning to keep it looking sharp and lint free.

Excellent Interior Upgrade
By John April 9, 2017I am very satisfied after installing this alcantara interior pack. It gives the car a higher quality feel and I could not be happier! For the handbrake, I used 3M Trim adhesive on the large areas of the plastic piece and gorilla super glue on the edges. This material is very thick and I actually couldn't get any of my trim pieces to clip in all the way. I had to trim a little around the edges. Be very careful! This interior pack goes well with my alcantara steering wheel and black slammer shift knob.
