Better than oem
By Jimmy April 7, 2022I just installed the coupler and the Perrin logo ended up on the bottom out of sight. It was the only way to fit it correctly. Also the clams are garbage , kept sliding off so I reused the oem clamps. PITA instal but it fixed my leak!

Short coupler
By Kyle February 16, 2017This part took roughly 1.5 hours to install as nothing was going right when trying to install this piece. The coupler itself is shorter than the stock piece, so some finesse is needed to get this coupler to line up right. I used my stock coupler to look at when installing this to line it up, which is decently annoying. Overall, I am satisfied with the part. It looks fantastic and the clamps are top notch. The instructions say to use a 12mm socket, but you really need a 11mm to do the job right.

Quality Part
By Leland August 10, 2015It's a quality part that's a bit longer than the OEM part. It only fits properly 1 way but will fit incorrectly at least 4 ways. I used an assembly lube to help the part slide around to help with orientation to the intercooler. I ended up removing the nuts on the clamps to get them to move on the Perrin part because the clamps grip so well on it. Use a deep well (11mm) to tighten the nuts When installing the OEM bracket thread the bolt onto the OEM intercooler part way 1st then apply pressure slowly to orientate the bolt holes on the bracket to the intake manifold because the part is a bit longer and will need finesse to get the holes to line up. Again it is a quality part.
