Valenti TapTurn LED Flasher Relay
When upgrading your Toyota 86/Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ/Subaru WRX & STI indicators there is always the flasher relay to consider upgrading. Without one you indicators will flash rapidly and this is known as 'hyper flash'. This is caused due to the low current draw of LED bulbs and the cars computer thinks the bulb is blown, to warn the driver and bulb may be blown the indicator lights will hyper flash. To prevent this you need to upgrade the flasher relay unit which is located under the steering wheel. Its a simple swap and only takes 10 minutes to complete.
Upgrading to a standard LED flasher relay that we have on our store is an easy solution but Valenti likes to take things further and create a better product. One issue with the standard LED flasher relays is there is a 1 second pause on the first flash when you indicate. This won't bother most people but others are bothered by little annoyances. With the Valenti Euro LED flasher your indicators will have no first flash delay and work as completely normal.
They also take it a step further and add a Euro tap-turn style feature. On many modern European cars they have a feature that when you 'tap' the indicator stork it will make the indicators blink 3 times. This is useful for quick lane changes and highway driving. It's a simple little feature that once you are used to you won't be able to remember how you drived without it! Of course, the indicators will also function as normal when you push the indicator stalk all the way, it will only blink 3 times you you half press it.
This is a genuine Valenti product straight from Valenti Japan and has a 1 year warranty.

Nothing comes close...
to how well these function. I recently put this in my 18' Limited and I was able to retain the turn to tap as well as eliminating the hyperflashing from adding OLMs LED bulbs to the turn housings. The blink is a tad slower but it's only fractions of a millisecond. As for the "sound" of the turn signal, (and this is not a slight to the last reviewer) I don't notice any difference from stock but I'm also not sitting in traffic listening and timing my turn signal for minutes at a time. Installation wasn't too bad and I just YouTube'd the same video I did when I originally did the Hyperblink module to my 15' Premium.

Gets the job done, but didn't expect two shortfalls
So this turn signal module overall gets the job done, which is to make lane changes with a single tap for three flashes. However there are two things which I wasn't very satisfied with and didn't expect. The first is that the turn signal sound sounds 'cheap' now. The OEM Subaru module sounds much better in the cabin. The next is that the turn signals are now much slower. It flashes less times per minute compared to the OEM. But you get used to these two things and forget about them. I just wish it at least sounded better in the cabin. Overall, I am pleased. Price could be a bit better IMO.
