FT-86 SpeedFactory's Catted UEL header is ready to get rid of that notorious torque dip that plagues the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ. Made in the USA from 304 Stainless steel and tig welded at every corner then a powder coated finish to finish it off.

The exhaust runners are 1.75" in OD and flow into a 4 to 1 merge collector that exits into a 2.5" OD catalytic converter which mates to the factory over pipe or any aftermarket over pipe that is in the factory location.

FT-86 SpeedFactory's Catted UEL header is ready to get rid of that notorious torque dip that plagues the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ. Made in the USA from 304 Stainless steel and tig welded at every corner then a powder coated finish to finish it off..

The exhaust runners are 1.75" in OD and flow into a 4 to 1 merge collector that exits into a 2.5" OD catalytic converter which mates to the factory over pipe or any aftermarket over pipe that is in the factory location.

The stock under tray will bolt right back up after installation, making sure you can still protect the cars underbelly, as well.

Quality Improvement

Our catted UEL header is a simple bolt on install that gains 18ft lb. of torque and 12HP in the infamous "dip". Peak power is up 14HP and 5ft lbs of torque with no ECU tuning. Unlock even more with a tune. No CEL, as well, for those who wish to not stare at a light on the dash. No CEL is on a stock car with no other mods. If you have other parts you still need a tune.

  • Lifetime Warranty (original owner only) against cracks or other defects in metal and weld quality. The CAT is void of any warranty claims as this unit can be damaged from HIGH EGT's on bad tunes.

    Just installed, noticeable difference in the torque dip just installing these headers and nothing else yet. Isn't gone completely, but very noticeable. Removing stock manifold was definitely the most difficult part, once nuts are loose it's hard to get them off the overpipe section especially. These new headers fit absolutely perfectly, was super simple putting them up. There are a couple nuts hard to get to, need a 3/8" swivel drive and deep 14mm socket and you're good. Also will need a 6" extension for 3/8" drive, 10mm and 12mm sockets to remove panel, and lastly need 15mm socket and 15mm wrench for the over pipe connection replacement nuts and bolts, which come with the headers. Also has all replacement gaskets. Very satisfied.

    This is a very well made header and it sounds amazing. Very simple to instal and came with all the gaskets and new bolts. Very noticeable difference I also am running a stage 2 tune with it.

    Had absolutely stock 2017 BRZ 6 speed manual, complete with the famous BRZ mid-range torque dip. Very annoying. Installed the UEL catted header and open flash stage 2 tune. Stock exhaust system was retained. As advertised the torque dip was improved dramatically if not eliminated entirely. The car is much more enjoyable to drive and performs as one would have expected originally, like a real sports car albeit not a muscle car. You'll need a blower for that... The installation was easier than I expected. I had no issues with the original exhaust hardware. Viewing YouTube installation videos was helpful. The fit was absolutely perfect. This is a very high quality piece. Excellent craftmanship and finish. 100% satisfied with the results.

    I can't say it enough... these headers fit perfectly, they sound great, and they look great. Sadly you can't really see them. The worst part of the install was getting the factory manifold off. I broke a bolt that connects the stock exhaust manifold to the over pipe. For the new header it was tricky getting to two of the nuts that attached the header to the block but with a swivel adapter it went perfect. The short and sweet of it all is these headers are great! Customer service is awesome as well! Thanks guys!
