A Must Do
I decided to swap this in while I was installing my IRP Shifter. Turns out I didn't even need the Perrin shifter bushing lol All well, the transmission bushing is fantastic and really improves the shifter feel. I went ahead and dropped the midpipe off so It would be out of the way when installing. I'd recommend this to everyone.
Shifting's more more solid & precise
My transmission oil hadn't been changed yet when I had these installed. Before the mod, the gear change was clunky & notchy. After the installation, it had become more precise & solid. There's an increase in noise but it's more of like solid 'thud' when shifting. I'm having the MTEC springs installed soon & the transmission oil changed as well. I'm expecting this to have a very smooth, precise, & solid shifting.
Bang for the buck
Took about an hour to install these two and what a difference! Felt immediate benefit, vastly more precise shifting, these should be fitted by Subaru. NVH increase minimal.
