Gives your WRX or STI’s Stock Headlights True DRL Function
While the 2015-2020 WRX Limited and STIs come with some of the meanest headlight designs ever put on a stock Subie, but they do have a slight issue. Their aggressive C-clamp “boomerang” LED strips only come on when your high or low beams are actually on. That’s where SubiSpeed’s Boomerang DRL Harness comes in. The True DRL Wiring Harness for 2015-2020 WRX Limited and STIs makes your Subie’s C-clamp Boomerangs come on as soon as you release the handbrake, regardless of your headlight switch position. The end result is an awesome, eye-catching look 24/7 in a complete wiring harness that easily installs with only minor amounts of splicing.
Complete Wiring Harness for Both OEM Headlights
SubiSpeed’s DRL Harness comes with everything you need to get a true DRL setup on your Subaru WRX or STI. The harness consists of a pair of add-a-fuses that drop into your Subie’s engine bay fuse box and tap into fuses that have constant 12-volt power when you release the handbrake, along with quick-taps for connecting to the stock headlight wiring harness. The two add-a-fuse kits use 5-amp fuses, and the harness is pre-cut to reach both front headlights without the need for extending it yourself. The harness taps into the stock wiring with minor amounts of splicing and adding a pin to the factory wiring connector. Each harness comes backed by a 1-year limited warranty from SubiSpeed

PARTS AND DESIGN
We took all things into consideration while designing this simple harness. One goal was to preserve the stock components and basically leave them untouched or fully reversible. The harness uses add a fuses to make a safe connection inside the engine compartment fuse box. The circuits are protected from electricity flowing the wrong direction. Simply weatherproof your stock connections and just keep them there until you sell the vehicle. At that time you can sell the harness and put the stock lights back in. Oh we also included some t-taps in case you want to light up some accessories. They connect to this aftermarket harness and not your factory wiring. It provides a quick and simple solution.

4x T-tap connectors for connecting accessories to the harness

FAQ
Should I be routing the wiring like in the base / premium WRX video?
The additional tab on this product page has the instructions for a Limited / STI. They will not be routed the same way.
What do I do if my auto windows don't work anymore?
Anytime the battery is disconnected, there is a chance that the auto windows will need to be reset. This is an easy task to do. Just roll your windows down all the way and then roll them up all the way manually.
