This red intake manifold is made of aluminum unlike the original plastic intake manifold from 2013-2016 FR-S' and BRZs. It was designed to compliment the changes made with the 2017 model year. Throttle body gasket is recommended.

Details

This red intake manifold is made of aluminum unlike the original plastic intake manifold from 2013-2016 FR-S' and BRZs. It was designed to compliment the changes made with the 2017 model year. Currently only available from the factory on 2017+ manual vehicles.

Throttle body gasket is recommended.

NOTE: To mount the DI ECU, you can modify the older bracket or purchase a newer bracket for bolt on install. You can also purchase the Velox / FT86SF ECU bracket and choose from 3 anodized colors.

    I did the installation myself and even tho it isn’t a simple bolt on, it’s definitely worth the time and price. Being patient is a must especially when transferring the injectors and fuel line along with the throttle body. I nearly forgot to transfer the rubber grommets for the injectors leaving the the injectors super loose. Other than that no complaints!
