READ THIS BEFORE PURCHASE
Wazzup 86 brothers (and sisters)! It's ya boy Sam today with a realistic review of the "MAXTON DESIGN GLOSS BLACK FRONT LIP SPLITTER". First of all, the lip is very nice for the price, and comes with all the hardware to mount it to the bumper. My package came with 16 bolts, washers, and nuts. I used 15 out of the 16 to make sure it was securely mounted and I highly recommend using most of them. FYI TO EVERYONE, THIS LIP SITS A LOT LOWER THAN THE POLYURETHANE EBAY LIPS YOU SEE ONLINE. So just take that into account before purchase. The lip makes the front bumper as a whole sit 2 inches lower. A big issue I had with this lip was that due to where I had the bolts mounted, I had to cut part of the splash shield due to the location of the bolts not allowing it to fully go into the bottom of the bumper (hard to describe but if you look at it, it'll makes sense). If you're confused as to the fitment, use the lines on the inside of the bumper and line it up with the back side of the lip, you'll see it once you have the parts on hand. Other than that the installation went decently smooth, and I think for the price it's definitely worth the cop, especially if you have a black FR-S/86/BRZ!
Comes in gloss black instead of that cheap unpainted frp. Already looks good without paint matching it. You must take off the bumper to thread the nuts to the bolts. It sits a little low especially if you are lowered. I’m on my second one. The first one I chipped while backing out of my sloped driveway. Best rice for the price.
