Details
Torque Solution Polyurethane Transmission Insert for the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ is designed to limit the amount of transmission movement under on off throttle and braking conditions. The factory mount allows the transmission to move which gives the feeling of a sloppy drivetrain. The mounts will give the car a more direct feel and more precise driver input to the vehicle. You can expect a much better feel under Braking, Acceleration, & lateral G's. While typically most Race Cars use a SOLID MOUNT, this solution is less harsh and still maintains better control of the transmission movement without the issue of Solid Mount Vibration. Why replace your broken mount with the same rubber mount that will break again due to deteriorating rubber. Replace it 1x with a polyurethane inserted mount and do it right.

Worthy inexpensive upgrade
By Bubba September 28, 2022I am very happy with the easy installation of the Torque trans mount insert and the instant feedback you on the first drive. You do get a little shake but after the first day you don’t even notice anymore. What you will notice is a tighter shift and a little less shake in the shifter.

The biggest difference $30 can make
By Kyle April 20, 2021Wow, I honestly didn’t expect much when I bought this. I originally ordered this insert because I heard it helps fix the notchyness you feel when shifting, which it does. What I didn’t expect was the car to just feel better overall. The difference is almost night and day. The car doesn’t roll as much in corners, it has better traction, etc. Definitely worth the $30 and couple hour install. My only complaint is it makes the trans noise a little louder and makes small vibrations, but definitely worth it. Probably not as bad as the blue (95a) insert though. Note; I also paired this with the Perrin trans support.
