Torque Solution Short Shifter is a direct replacement for your long throw stock unit. Our shifters are made of high quality CNC'd 304 Stainless Steel for it's resistance to corrosion and strength. The lower bushings, reverse lockout and shifter ball cup are machined from delrin polymer for it's toughness and durability. We also include a high temp grease syringe and stainless steel install hardware.
Disclaimer: Our short shifter uses solid delrin bushings vs. the OEM shifters rubber bushings. Due to this an increase in NVH may occur.

Great shifter with a low profile!
By Stuart June 8, 2020I’m going to have to call installation error on the previous poster. I installed my shifter and it is factory quiet (maybe there was an update). The shifter sits low, which I like as I am taller. With the m-tech shift springs and the upgraded shifter bushing, shifting is a completely different experience! Clean, clear, solid shifts!

Easy to install, rattles like it's missing a part
By Kevin April 22, 2018Installing this short shifter is simple if you're confident about taking apart your interior (ft86speedfactory has a very useful video on this). Pretty straightforward assembly, and the shift-action with this shifter is fantastic! My only gripe about this shifter is that it rattles so badly at higher RPMs that it feels like there's something missing from this kit. I believe the rattling is the Delrin cover against the shifter inside of it. It's quite noticeable, and consistent in every gear except first. If NVH isn't a problem for you, them I recommend this shifter. If it is, I'd find another model
