Torque Solution Short Shifter is a direct replacement for your long throw stock unit. Our shifters are made of high quality CNC'd 304 Stainless Steel for it's resistance to corrosion and strength. The lower bushings, reverse lockout and shifter ball cup are machined from delrin polymer for it's toughness and durability. We also include a high temp grease syringe and stainless steel install hardware. The rear sifter bushing is made from 75A durometer urethane and assists in removing shifter slop for firmer / crisper shifts.
Disclaimer: Our short shifter uses solid delrin bushings vs. the OEM shifters rubber bushings. Due to this an increase in NVH may occur.

Fantastic but the bushing is a must
By Mitch July 1, 2020I had this installed without the bushing for about a week and while it was shorter, it was clunky and heavy. I finally got around to jacking up the car to put the bushing in and it made a huge difference in smoothness. Do not buy this product without the bushing or your regret it. It feels nice and crisp when shifting and there is no rattle to speak of. Great product.

By PHILIP March 28, 2018Easy to install (with a lift of course) and it dramatically increased the fun I have driving my FR-S. It's short and choppy (in a good way) and the shifting has actually smooth out quite a bit after having it installed in my car for over a week now. Would recommend to anyone to have more fun with their FR-S, 86, or BRZ
