The OEM airbox has a paper filter that limits the performance because of the lack of airflow, and it can quickly become dirty. Cold air intake systems feature a larger cone-style filter that allows the engine to inhale a larger volume of air to quicken the throttle response, while adding more power and torque. DIFFUSERS AND VORTEX GENERATORS
This is a cool way to provide additional aggressive looks to your BRZ or A90 Supra especially if you’ve got wheels, coilovers, and other exterior bits such as a rear wing or front lip.
