The early eighties are back! RECARO Automotive Seating is celebrating a design icon of the early eighties with a limited carseat edition. Only 50 sets, consisting of driver and passenger seat, will be produced for the North American market. In late July, the Gradient Seat will be available at selected RECARO US dealers.
The new seat model is based on the classic, well-known sport seat RECARO Speed. It provides the essence of a dynamic riding experience – with an integrated headrest, belt pass-throughs and aggressively bolstered shoulder, back and thigh areas. The sleek cover designs make the RECARO Speed the ultimate in a "street legal" performance seat.
In the early eighties, the original RECARO sport seats showed a distinctive design with the RECARO logo on a color gradient in shades of orange and brown.
For the unprecedented crispness of the bold logo presentation RECARO Automotive Seating uses an innovative technique of Adient: The exclusive fabrics for the seat inserts combine digital ink jet printing with performance durability. To round things up, each seat comes with a production "born-on-date" badge and a certificate.
