The problem with certain ethanol stations is that the actual ethanol content can be inconsistent. This could be a problem if your vehicle is tuned for 70% ethanol content or above, and the ethanol percentage at the pump is actually 60% depending on what blend you may have received.

If your ethanol percentage is outside of your safe parameters, this will tell you to stay off the boost.
