Plug And Play With Ease

OLM's First Strike bulbs are designed to be direct plug and play bulb. It's design is similar to the OEM halogen bulbs and does not have an external LED driver box to mount.

 

An Upgrade In Every Sense Of The Word

The first commercial halogen lamp was developed around 1959. In most applications they're easy to recognize due to the high heat and orange light output. They also have a lower life span with lower light output per watt. This new First Strike utilizes the latest technology to maximize light output while maintaining an affordable price. Through experience from previous bulb design, OLM has continued to push its larger heatsinks vs fans. By keeping them out of the design, there are less components at risk of failing.

 

Choose First Strike

First Strike bulbs are quick and easy replacements for halogen bulbs. Their design allows them to fit the exact same bulb that they're replacing. No large or bulky LED drivers. They come with an Allen key wrench so that you can adjust the output as well. Loosen up the set screw, spin the bulb until the output is optimal, and tighten the screw back down.

 

NOTE: These are sold as DRL bulbs vs high beam bulbs. They are recommended for vehicles that use 9005 DRLs. Customers who have retrofitted their headlights with a single projector high / low beam or have auxiliary lighting can use these. The output is not ideal for standard high beam use.

How does the warranty work?

With OLM products, for a period of 1 year after the purchase, just e-mail us here and let us know about your issue.

Our trained staff will troubleshoot the product with you if required. They usually ask for a photo or two. If the issue still exists, we send you out a new item free of charge! You will not have to pay shipping to return your item or receive another.

Do I need an HID relay?

SubiSpeed only offers HID relays when they are possibly required. We have tested the current draw of this kit and found that it does not exceed the factory wiring.
